Insect Protein Dog Food

A different protein in the bowl. I appreciate a hooman who actually reads the ingredients. — Nyla

What comes home with you

• 2.5 kg small kibble: one 2.5 kg bag.
• 10 kg large kibble: one 10 kg bag.

These are separate purchase options, not two bags supplied together.

Why your dog might need a different dinner option

This recipe offers black soldier fly larvae as an alternative main protein for adult dogs. I like having a genuinely different option to assess, but your dog's needs and the full ingredient list still decide whether it belongs in their bowl. A different protein is not an automatic allergy solution.

Know the recipe

Includes black soldier fly larvae meal, fava beans, potato, hemp seed oil, vegetables, vitamins and minerals. Also contains fish oil and dried egg. This is not vegan, fish-free or egg-free food.

Nutritional analysis: protein 29% minimum, fat 16% minimum, fibre 5% maximum and moisture 10% maximum. Read the current bag for the complete ingredients and feeding directions.

Feeding and storage

Choose the kibble and portion to suit your dog. Introduce food changes gradually, provide fresh water and store the resealed bag in a cool, dry place. Discuss any prescribed or restricted diet with your vet before switching.
