Mum’s search for the right gear for me is how Bestia earned a place here. I’ll let her explain. — Nyla
Why I chose Bestia
I always found it hard to find the right leather harnesses, collars and leads for Nyla. So much of the gear for bigger dogs and bully breeds felt like small-dog designs made bigger, or had an intimidating, military look. I wanted something distinctive and stylish, with everyday usefulness considered too.
Nyla has had rashes after wearing some nylon and polyester collars for long periods, so I started paying closer attention to materials as well as fit. Finding matching pieces I actually loved was another challenge.
That is what drew me to selected Bestia designs. Their leather harnesses and individual styling spoke to what I had been looking for. I wanted to offer those finds through House of Sploots while developing our own branded collection, and make the search a little easier for other dog-obsessed humans.

Meet Bestia
Bestia Custom Dog Gear began in 2015 when its founder, Viktor Nedkov, started creating gear for his two Cane Corsos. The brand makes handcrafted leather collars, harnesses and leads in Bulgaria, with designs for medium, large and giant breeds.
